Readers, I am so excited to bring you another fabulous story to pile on your eBook TBR pile by award winning erotic romance author Regina Carlyle.  Let me get this said first.  I loved reading a Regina Carlyle book.  Carlyle’s books, no matter if they are set in contemporary, paranormal, erotic or hot and steamy romance she has a gift of taking her readers away into a pleasure filled few hours—guilt free and with no calories.  Now, that is my kind of author.

WHIZ BANG is just another extraordinary addition to Carlyle’s already fabulous repertoire. There wasn’t just one element that drew me in.  I admit when I saw Carlyle’s name, read the book blurb to find out it was in this new saucy Toys-4-Us series I was in. 

I know readers need more than my very own personal praise, so here I go.  Hannah west is absolutely adorable.  Readers will relate to Hannah’s very real insecurity of having feeling for her best friend.  Afraid to voice how she feels in fear she will destroy their friendship.  Add the element that she is insecure—slightly- she is too goodie-goodie, and will always be a best bud realm as far as Sean is concerned.  Carlyle, as always does a wonderful job laying down the ground work with her constant use of proactive imagery to show the depth of Hannah and Sean’s relationship.  At the heart, Carlyle shows readers that the inevitable—Sean and Hannah finally coming together—was in the making from the moment they met. Carlyle also gives readers the opportunity to come along and see how well these to bright charismatic character set an erotic sensual pace with hotter-than-hell love scenes. 

I am all about characterization.  Great characters keep me up all night fighting, crying, laughing and participating in a journey to see is the hero and heroine get the happy ending I believe they deserve.  Carlyle created in WHIZ BANG such flesh and blood characters that I found myself wanting to google up Sean’ O’Brian’s bar to go have a bear and listen to the band playing.  Then I realized two things: the bar was set in Texas and being in New York State it would be one heck of a hike; and secondly, Sean’s bar wasn’t real.  Carlyle’s characters come to life with her snappy tight dialogue that only enhances a reader’s experience.

Plot, plot and then some more plots is what a reader looks for after skillfully crafted characters, plush settings, and dynamic real-to-life dialogue and explosive love scenes.  I love the good girl next door theme.  An author has so many ways to go in creating this story. It is a theme used time and time again, but put in the hands of a wonderful story teller the theme comes alive, fresh and new. 

Readers familiar with Regina Carlyle’s work will not be disappointed as she gives another exciting delightful romance adventure…quick dialogue…saucy and sensual setting sure enough to make the heat rise off the pages.  WHIZ BANG is a thoroughly enjoyable erotic reader, that once a reader finishes, the only thing left to do is pick the book right up and start all over again.
