BOUND AND DETERMINED is a perfect story for the readers just wetting their feet in the erotic BDSM genre.  This novel packs a powerful punch with its rich provocative prose.  This is a read for all those who have ever fantasized about that hot sexy neighbor who you were sure underneath all that silk and satin were down and dirty between the sheets.  Holt’s BOUND AND DETERMINED is a dangerous little package with an adrenaline charged romance with her engaging protagonists Alix and Mick. Holt’s characterization is beautiful and genuine in her craftsman ship as an extraordinary writer.

The character that I connected with is Alix Townsend.  Alix is an overachiever, placing work above everyone or thing, forgoing any kind of love life she has used work as a way of keeping relationships at the basic.  Relationships are not high on her radar.  The men she has been with never connected on anything but the baser need of lust and sex.  When Mack enter her stratosphere two years ago, moving in next door neither her brain nor libido ignore him.  Alix is a cool confident woman when it comes to litigations, but in the matters of the heart she is clueless.  As a soft hearted-hard working woman Alix will draw readers’ attention for the most that woman can relate to Alix in much way.

Mack is ever readers’ perfect package of an uber alpha male hero.  Readers will sigh, fan themselves and he might find himself featured in some readers XXX fantasies.  He is gorgeous with a smartass attitude that is not snarky but rather endearing.  Holt did a beautiful job showing the two sides of both protagonists especial Mack with the way he tries to shake off that he is coming to care for Alix and regard her more than an itch to scratch.

A back yard barbeque, steaks grilling, wine and a bag of sex toys has all the potential for one rockn’ eve and is the perfect setting for Holt’s BOUND AND DETERMINED.  What started out as an itch to scratch for both protagonist becomes so much more.  I have heard it said that location is everything.  In this I would agree, whether in the bedroom, in a mammoth shower stall or on the marble kitchen counter Holt reeves up readers’ imagination and slipping a thoughtful theme of letting yourself go, pummeling through emotional walls and giving over to your own inclinations.     

Holt is a wonderful story teller engaging readers with her charm and wit that she showcase to perfection in her well crafted stories, giving readers charismatic characters, engaging dialogue and a sexy love story that heats up the pages from beginning to end.
